Good to Know: Our Favorite Greige Paints

Over the past few months, we’ve shared some of our favorite paint colors, including our favorite blue paints, our no-fail paints, and our favorite colors for a home exterior. However, there are very few color categories that our team loves more than greige. Greige is a combination of two classic neutrals (gray and beige), and has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years.

The appeal of greige is that you have the elegance of gray, combined with the warmth of beige. The combination of gray and beige together is more elevated than either one on their own. While beige can fall flat and gray can come off as cold, greige combines the best aspects of each to create a rich neutral that works well with both cool and warm tones. Greige is ultra versatile, and can work with a wide variety of decor.

Depending on how much gray or beige is in a color, greiges can range from warm to cool. Today we’re sharing our favorite greige paints, starting with the warmest and moving to the coolest tones. As with any paint color, you do have to be careful with undertones. Some greige paints have a green or blue undertone, but the colors that we are recommending below are true gray-beige colors.
